The way that I now see, this mess, it's better to give up my best. Because if I do,  I'll be friends with you, That way there are no hidden tests. I'm sorry for treating my mates, As if they were locked behind gates. Y'know, I did relish, a chance then to cherish, The feeling that I'd always win. If I could choose my friends with care, Then my life won't be shaped like pears, At least, so I thought, And that's how I bought, The lie that life's a great big stair. A ladder to climb up, and win, approval of country, or kin, My girlfriend, or mate, So, next time I'll wait And make people feel like their in. 'Cos winning at life, can be seen, In ways by us all, we've all been, A tall poppy here, And that's why I fear, That that's just the way that we lean.

Go as I go.

My issue in this time, as I've been shown, by God is soon to be my next project. It's time to get the tools out and begin, to fix, or make, and do what needs be done. There is a hope inside me, and I know, that God has not left me all on my own. And that, for a good reason, so I'll go, as only I can go as I am shown.

How does it feel to be loved by God, forgiven?

What difference does it make to you oh man,  That you have been forgiven, loved by God,  That he does not see your sins in anymore,  What difference does it make or does it not?    How does it help you in the way you live?  Or does it help you in the way you think?  Or does it change the kind of things you do?  Please, tell us cause I think you think it's true.   How did it make you feel when you first knew?  Or, was the process a progressive thing? Do you think you have reached the top and know, Exactly how you think this makes you think?    Have you been changed since you have found this out?  Do you now hold onto this without doubt? Then did you realise just who you once were? But only tell us what you can confer.

Crocodillian feelings

Ask me about this one next time you see me .. Amongst the reeds when crocodiles are near, There is some fear when I give up, look down, And feel the weeds and grasses, I can see, the possibility of crocs around. I'll put one foot ahead, and walk along, the water slows me down, up to my knees. I've never heard of friendly crocodiles, I feel them looking out, but I can't see. It's scary thinking I could be their lunch, I'd rather have a hundred mozzie bites, But, it won't help if I get angry at, these meat-eaters for doing what they'd like. I'll do my best to outsmart all these crocs, the snakes as well, that sneak amongst the grass, I'll tippy-toe right past, their lizard tails, I'll have to learn their tricks, learn to be smart.

Yeast

There is a culture often found in dough, that's been put there by someone who would like, a bigger, softer bread than it would be, without this yeast that gives a rising out. It seems that it could have another use. I'm thinking about storytelling and, although I could mean beer,(that would be true), It's not the one I'm thinking of right now. Well, it could be a metaphor. "What for?" I'm glad you've asked and I will keep it plain. Or, try to, but for me that's sometimes hard. I like to use ideas to help explain. And that is why I think that Jesus used, this picture of the yeast which would soon grow. It helped him to serve up the mind a feast. A clever way to ask the mind to know. This metaphor could then be used again. To symbolise another kind of growth. It's not that yeast is good, or bad, alone. It's more a case of that it could be both*. But, in the mind of One,( who is the Son, of God), it soon took on a greater ...

The madman and the pigs. ( Mark chapter 5 vs 1-20)

Upon the shore, there on the other side, there came a man out of the cemet'ry.. He'd been abandoned there, for he was wild. And, no one knew the child that he'd soon be. They'd used thick chains to keep him safely locked, but, ev'ry time, it wasn't quite enough. He'd break out, leaving broken chains behind, It's safe to say, he was out of his mind. He'd lived there 'mongst the hills, for many days. And, he would moan, and wail, and carry on, and cut himself with stones. In many ways, he was a broken man, "Here is the Son, of GOD!" He fell at Jesus's feet. He cried, "Don't hurt us, please, we beg. You are the great-, est, and is there something between us?" …."Come, get out of it," said Jesus, "and be-gone!" ...What is your name?" He asked then of the man. "There's many here, and Many is my name, a bunch of us, so please don't send us out, we want to stay here in ...

Thoughts on Micah 6:6-8

So, how on earth will God accept this man? And, what is there that I can do or say, To make God happy so that I can be, acceptable enough to stand up straight? Will I write endless songs to reach God's ears? Or, starve myself of food for fifty days? Will I learn all the Bible off by heart? Or, wear a t-shirt that says "Jesus Saves"? Well, he has shown me what is truly good. And what it is that he would ask of me. To always do what's fair, and right, and true. To love, what's loyal, when circumstances say I might, have ev'ry right to look the other way. To love, the choice of being kind, to someone else. And not, to get revenge for what's been said or done. It hurts, but in the end what have I truly won? Now look, there is another thing God wants from me. To humbly go about the day with him. To share in work and play and all I do. And not, To think I know exactly what I'm on, about, and know precisely what you mean. That'...

Mark ("my words") - from chapter 13

I'd listened in, and heard what Jesus said.. ..was after he was walking with his blokes. They'd said, "..that's quite a building, check those stones, out! What a sturdy looking thing it is!" "No, don't expect this place you see to last. It's only temporary, has a date. The 'best before' will run out, in the end. I'll shake your hand and tell you, this is fate." He said, and when they asked him, 'cross from there, as they were sitting on an olive mount. "Please, tell us, so that us four now can hear, when will all of these things, then come about?" "Be careful!", so he said, "Now, listen in.. For, many will come who say they are me. These phoney ones who claim to know the way, I'm sure that if you look for them, you'll see. And, kingdoms, countries, nations, go to war, to fight in battles all around the place. And, famines carry on, over a score. It's only the beginning, just ...

A rest to give the best!

A rest for growing into stillness here, a blessing, such a lucky man I am. A test for being able to be mere.., -ly sitting, walking, talking without fear. I hope for safety for my friend who is, away in other places I'm not in. I trust in God who cares for hers and hims, and every person's life that is within.

Know how to go.

I hold my hand upon my heart and know, that it must be a blessing here to get, a satisfaction, hopefully I'll grow, into a kinder bloke that will not fret. I worry not for any food to eat, or how I'll come or go, I trust in God, but, often, words have torn me down to meat, and this came from a Christian's mouth. That's odd.. It shows me that the name that someone has, soon made up for themselves will never stick. There's talk of names that given, have a chance, to wake up beasts, or beauties from their sleep. God help me to be careful what I say. The words that I pass on from somewhere in, my heart will soon affect another's day, or year, or life, Lord help me to begin, to hearken up, to listen, and to know, with "fear and trembling" what Thou wouldst me say, in wisdom then to tension up this bow, and fire then those words, like Sun's bright rays.

The head, the heart, and the eye.

On wings from fairies, float these wholesome thoughts, from blessed books, and bottles frozen from, the fridge that freezes quicker than it ought, I slowly wait, my mind must now be thawed. Ideas too often carried on in haste, though, "fast" ain't wrong, it's slowliness that has, a wholesomeness, it chews enough to taste. I hope that I can slow down to a pace, to hold with hands that carry kinder thoughts, which have been stilled, and can be trusted in. The head must be a precious place, for sure, I'll never treat it like a garbage bin.

Who cooked the books? Part to..(explore)

I find, that I've been helped to carry on. To wear a happy attitude for days, is not a task that I'm keen to run from. God's showing me into his bright Sun's rays. To hold on hoping, somehow this will bring, a further light into our present world. This gifted place, that god has brought by sing-, ing out of space and time, as matters curled, into an sphere that's blue, and brown and green. It is a thought that's become very real, I see it as a parable that's been, a morsel for me, but not quite a meal. These thoughts I have inside my heart and head, On pages find my meaning written down, Like fairies straight from dreams I have in bed, These pages might cause someone less to frown. I'm cooking up some words, and rhymes to sing. I hope that they will soon find my guitar, But if they don't, I think that I might wing, It, and start memorizing in the car. For God's work is just like a plant that grows, Into a tree, come from the ...

Who cooked the books? Part one(and C)..

I fear the fight that I might have to make, to bring about a change inside my head. But, dough is sticky, before it gets baked. And, after heat it may turn into bread. So, listen closely to the word that is, inside the books you read, although it's odd, that looking just at words could reach our ears, and through the process seem to come from God! So, is it true, that God can be in books? How did he get inside the printer's ink? Could thoughts from people's hearing( so it looks), be somehow God's!? Amazing, just to think, of God having a link with all his ones! And, how will I know which voice I can trust? So, can you see them cooking? All these buns, these thoughts are in the oven, under-cooked.

The Wise-dom of God

Beginning with the end that's given me, I try to use the strength I have from God. He shows me how, a better man I'll be, if trusting him, doesn't at all seem odd. I give him thanks for bread and too, for wine. The Lord has given all the things I need. His spirit's fruit that comes from love, divine. It makes me want his warnings here to heed. A blessing from my burden, he will make, inside me, so I'll be a blessing too. He'll teach me with his children, bread to break, Untill we can together drink wine, new! Together with the one who'll take our woes. The Earth and all within it will be glad! From bottom to the top, from heads to toes, and wipe the tears from all those who are sad. He said that he would come on clouds to bring, a dif'rent kind of change than those who rule, at present now, so, helpless ones can sing. A change will come for wise man, and for fool! Yeshua said, that his way is the one, to bring to us a light to stop o...

In fertile soil is grown..

The fear I feel inside of the unknown, to try to have a hand in helping out. But, holding on with hands, how God has shown. Not giving up the fight that's all about. For, many needs, God's many hands will wake, and all these souls will take some time to think. To ponder what makes other hearts to ache, or who might like a quenching cup to drink.

To our Queen, and all, in between..

A holiday, we celebrate today, the Northern Star, the Queen of Commonwealth. We drink and eat to give thanks, and too, pray, for what we have, in sickness and in health. 'Cos, being thankful is a common cure, to show the God above, and too, ourselves, and others 'round about, that God is near. And what God gives, it truly is a wealth. Although, it sometimes seems a bit unfair, that some of us have heaps, and others don't. I thank the Lord, for making me an heir, of something that the rust, and weather, won't, be able to destroy, or take away. May God's creating spirit, work with us, on Earth, so that God's Kingdom will come stay. Can we, Children of God, do as God does?

How to move on up..

I don't know how to move on up and in, to see a change from sadness causing doubt. My eyes look up to god, and they begin, to take onboard, the plan that's out, about... When weariness is clothing all my fears, they open up and fall from these two hands. A drought is on inside, I have no tears. I want there to be sunlight where I stand. And yet, I look ahead, and seize, to live. And, frost comes from outside to freeze my cup. I hold on to a hope that wants to give, to find that it's the sort that's giving up. I hold out these two hands, and pray to god, the father of this race, and all below. I soon see that the winner here is odd, and things that I thought good, now cease to glow. What brings a change from thankfulness in me? From where has all this sorrow now begun? Help me to remember what things I see, So, thoughts don't only ever turn to fun. And, so, without a motion of a hand, without the sound of nice, but empty words, I go on out in br...

Four feet small, and six.

And, as His life in us is working in, like sunscreen in the summer months had been, a block to save this paper fragile skin, from books I'd read to make this heart less mean. The word that takes a season's growing just, to teach this lazy lizard to be still. To learn that working busy-ness to bust, what's beautiful won't take so long to kill. I buried all my marbles in the ground, and hoped that one day they might be a find, for future digging hands, till they were found, I turned and dug them out, I changed my mind. I've been that boy a long time since that day, and hidden many words, so they would grow, if, searching thoughts would only let them stay, the grass would soon have covered them below. And grubs would grin, when angry ants would talk, through teeth that were too busy making words, they couldn't notice where their futures walked, so soon would they be in amongst the birds. I wipe the beading sweat off from my brow, true feelings ...

God's kindred folk's..

The goodness that is such a gift to me, I hope to share with ev'ryone around. It changes with the faces that I see, so, thanks to god for every pleasant sound, for images of love, I pray and hope, these symbols of true kindness will soon coax, and draw us all together like a rope, then we can all become god's kindred folks.

To sow and grow.

And, yet it seems that god is working and, it may mean that my world is sinking in. And, though I do not always understand, I'll let this work of god in me begin. This means that god's ideas are planted here, inside me, somewhere I have never seen. A place of fertile soil and honest fear, of god, it needs to happen for this bean, to grow into a kinder, kind'a bloke. So, please god, help me to un-shell this man, and let the sprouting, tender plant to grow. I trust it's growing just the speed it can.
