There won't be sickness, in that place,
The coming earth with heaven's face.
Or tears of sadness, death no more,
No triple 0, no reason for...
For, one has walked, where none had trod,
through "hell-ish" muck, he came, my god.
For he's a friend, of friends is he.
Even, a friend of enemies.
To turn a key, t'was rusted on.
Some might have thought, "The owners gone!"
They dreamed they'd have a merry time,
the men they were a'drinkin' wine.
The women were a chatterin',
they said the party would begin,
but, just as they were at their worst,
guess who had just through his door burst!
To find events quite otherwise,
since he had said, "Please, supervise."
Their vices had entangled them.
Like Eve and Adam's apple stem.
That broken off, would break the one,
who broke it. "Now let's fix it, Son."
So, by and by, a new day came,
as everything still seemed the same.
An evil world, was now 'at large'.
Sickness, and broken minds in charge.
And, some did hope, the 'Man upstairs',
hadn't forgotten, 'bout their cares.
They say that it was Jesus, who,
it's written that he was a Jew.
"Now, if you want to live," said he,
"You have to do the same as me."
"Give all that you would rather keep,
for what you sow, you're sure to reap."
And, by the way, he proved it too,
He gave his life, and this is true,
He got it back, 'brand-spankin' new!
Too right!
